49ers Fan Arrested After Violent Attack on Titans Fans Outside Levi’s Stadium – Incident Casts Shadow Over Week 15 Win
Santa Clara, California – December 15, 2025
What should have been remembered as one of San Francisco’s most dominant performances of the season took a disturbing turn Sunday afternoon, as a 49ers fan was arrested following a violent attack on Tennessee Titans supporters outside Levi’s Stadium — just hours after the 49ers’ convincing 37–24 Week 15 victory.
According to Santa Clara Police Department officials, the incident occurred shortly after the game in the stadium’s outer parking area. The suspect, whose identity has not yet been released, allegedly approached a group of Titans fans near a parked vehicle and began throwing heavy objects, shattering windows while several individuals were still nearby.

Witnesses described scenes of panic as families attempted to shield children and elderly fans from flying glass. Emergency responders treated multiple people at the scene for minor injuries, and authorities later confirmed that all injuries were non-life-threatening.
Police officers stationed near the stadium quickly intervened and took the suspect into custody without further escalation. Investigators indicated that alcohol consumption and heightened emotions following the game were likely contributing factors, though the investigation remains ongoing.
“This kind of behavior has absolutely no place in sports or in our community,” a police spokesperson said. “Passion for a team is part of what makes the NFL special, but when it turns violent, it puts innocent people in danger. That line cannot be crossed.”
Both the San Francisco 49ers and the Tennessee Titans released statements condemning the incident. The 49ers emphasized that the actions of one individual do not represent the values of the organization or its fan base, while the Titans expressed appreciation for the swift response by law enforcement and urged accountability and mutual respect among fans.
The disturbing off-field incident stood in stark contrast to what unfolded on the field earlier in the day. San Francisco delivered a statement win, powered by quarterback Brock Purdy’s three-touchdown performance and a dominant third quarter that effectively put the game out of reach.
Yet despite the emphatic victory, the incident cast a somber tone over what should have been a celebratory evening at Levi’s Stadium. For many fans, the reminder was unavoidable: while rivalries fuel the NFL, respect and safety must always come first.
As the 49ers move forward in a critical stretch of the playoff race, Sunday will be remembered not only for a decisive win, but also as a cautionary moment — underscoring the responsibility shared by teams, leagues, and fans alike to ensure the game remains a place of passion, not violence.
