Last week, the Saints welcomed a very special guest named Levi to the Caesars Superdome as part of a touching collaboration between Make-A-Wish and Ochsner Health. The young fan, who had been bravely fighting illness, saw his dream come true when he met Saints owner Gail Benson and rookie tackle Taliese Fuaga before the game.
Levi’s first wish was to visit Hawaii with his family — a trip he completed with smiles and strength. When he returned home, he rang the ceremonial bell, marking his recovery, and was invited to celebrate game day with the team he loves most.
Among those deeply moved by Levi’s visit was star running back Alvin Kamara, who spent time talking with the young fan before kickoff. “I’ve met a lot of people in my career,” Kamara said, “ but Levi’s energy and smile are different. I can feel the strength in that kid. He reminds me why we play this game, why it means so much. Levi gave us more than we could ever give him.”
The short video shared by NFL on CBS, combining game highlights from the Saints–Patriots matchup with Levi’s emotional story, quickly captured the hearts of thousands of fans online. It became a symbol of courage, community, and the unbreakable bond between a team and its city.
Through partnerships with Make-A-Wish and Ochsner Health, the Saints continue to use their platform to uplift and inspire those facing life’s toughest battles.
Because sometimes, the most powerful victories aren’t measured in touchdowns — they’re written in moments of hope like this.
