Aaron Rodgers Denies Selling His Green Bay Home to Micah Parsons, Says He Already Has Plans for It
Green Bay, Wisconsin – October 28, 2025
In a game filled with storylines and nostalgia, the Green Bay Packers’ 35–25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers became more than just a statement victory—it reignited a conversation about legacy. As the Packers’ new defensive star Micah Parsons faced off against Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback who once defined Green Bay football, the spotlight briefly turned from the field to real estate. Parsons revealed after the game that Rodgers had joked about selling him his former Green Bay home.
Rodgers, however, was quick to set the record straight. Speaking with reporters Tuesday night, the four-time MVP laughed off the rumor. “I’m not selling that house,” Rodgers said. “That’s home. My whole life has been tied to the Packers—Lambeau Field, the teammates I went to battle with, and the fans who made every Sunday feel special. Someday, when it’s all said and done, I want to come back, sit in that backyard, and know I never really left.”
The comments came after a bittersweet reunion between Rodgers and his former team. Jordan Love, his successor, threw for 360 yards and three touchdowns, while Parsons sacked Rodgers once and nearly had another late in the fourth quarter. After the game, Parsons shared with reporters that Rodgers had told him to “buy his house in Green Bay,” a remark that quickly went viral. It seemed like a playful exchange between two competitors—but for Rodgers, the message was personal.
Rodgers explained that he still envisions retiring as a member of the Packers, even as he plays his first season with the Steelers. “I’ve worn a few different jerseys now,” he said, “but there’s only one that feels like me. When the time comes, I’d like to sign that one-day contract and finish where I started.”
For Green Bay fans, that sentiment resonates deeply. Rodgers’ name remains etched in Lambeau history, and his heart—by his own admission—still belongs there. As for that Green Bay house? It might just stay off the market for good.
