After the loss to Jacksonville and a disappointing 2–6 start, defensive superstar Maxx Crosby has shown signs of wanting out of the Raiders – and the Colts have emerged as his most likely destination after sending a “blockbuster” offer right before the November 4 trade deadline
Indianapolis, Indiana – November 3, 2025
Turmoil continues to swirl around the Las Vegas Raiders following a crushing 29–30 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, dropping them to 2–6 on the season. But amid the chaos, Maxx Crosby has remained the lone bright spot — a relentless force on a team struggling to find its identity.
According to multiple league sources, the Indianapolis Colts have now become the frontrunner to acquire Crosby after reportedly submitting a blockbuster trade offer ahead of the November 4 deadline. ESPN insiders indicate the deal could include multiple draft picks and a defensive starter, signaling Indianapolis’ determination to fortify its defense for the playoff stretch.

Despite the Raiders’ struggles, Crosby has continued to shine — recording 4 sacks and 8 tackles for loss through seven games, once again proving why he’s one of the most disruptive defensive ends in football. His intensity, leadership, and unyielding motor have earned him universal respect, even as frustration builds within the Raiders’ locker room.
When asked about the rumors during a press conference, Colts head coach Shane Steichen spoke highly of the star pass rusher:
“Maxx is one of those players who changes the entire tone of a defense. He plays with heart, with energy, and with a level of passion that lifts everyone around him. In Indianapolis, we welcome players like that — the kind who don’t just make plays, they make people believe.”
The potential deal has set Colts Nation ablaze with excitement. Many believe Crosby could instantly transform Indianapolis’ defense into one of the most dominant units in the AFC — and bring back the fiery identity the franchise once thrived on.
While the Raiders have yet to issue an official statement, tension inside the organization appears to be rising. And as for Maxx Crosby — the beating heart of a faltering team — a move to Indianapolis could finally give him what he’s been chasing all along: a real shot at greatness.
