NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell called the intercept by the young Saints cornerback "the most beautiful of the season" – "His future will rival that of the legends!"

October 20, 2025

Amid a season full of dramatic moments across the NFL, one play at Soldier Field has stood out above them all. And now, it’s received the ultimate recognition — NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has officially praised New Orleans Saints cornerback Quincy Riley’s interception as “the best catch of the season so far.”

During the matchup between the Saints and the Chicago Bears, with just over three minutes left in the first quarter, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams launched a deep ball down the right sideline on 3rd & 17. Under heavy pressure from the Saints’ front, the ball sailed high — until Riley appeared like a scene out of an action movie, leaping between two Bears receivers, snatching the ball mid-air, and crashing to the turf with it securely in his hands.

The official fan @Saints account wasted no time posting the clip with a fiery caption:
“QUINCY RILEY SAID GIMMEEEEEE DAT. SAINTS BALL 📺 FOX.”
The post exploded online, racking up more than 130,000 views within hours, along with hundreds of comments celebrating the rookie’s instinct and athleticism.

Speaking on NFL Total Access, Roger Goodell couldn’t hide his admiration:
“That play made me get out of my chair. Riley read the route like a veteran and timed his jump perfectly. You can see thousands of interceptions every season, but only a few have that kind of instinct, precision, and flair.”

Goodell even added with a rare grin:
“If there were ever a painting to capture the spirit of a perfect defensive back, that moment from Riley would be it.”

For Quincy Riley, the interception wasn’t just a highlight — it was a statement. A symbol of resilience, awareness, and hunger that could reignite New Orleans’ defense. And for the Saints, it might just be the spark that keeps the Who Dat Nation believing.

Bills Legend and 5x Pro Bowl QB Sends Strong Message to Offensive Coordinator Joe Brady and Josh Allen – Revealing the Path to Bring Buffalo Back to Greatness
Bills Legend and 5x Pro Bowl QB Sends Strong Message to Offensive Coordinator Joe Brady and Josh Allen – Revealing the Path to Bring Buffalo Back to Greatness Buffalo, New York – October 2025 As the Buffalo Bills continue to search for consistency amid a frustrating season, a familiar voice from the franchise’s golden era has emerged — and it’s one that commands respect. Legendary quarterback Jim Kelly, who once led the Bills to four straight Super Bowls, has delivered a powerful message to offensive coordinator Joe Brady and star quarterback Josh Allen. Kelly, a five-time Pro Bowler and one of the most revered figures in Bills history, believes Allen remains the heart and soul of the team, but that the current offensive approach is holding him back. "Josh Allen is the diamond Buffalo must protect — give him a balanced offense, a reliable running back, and an elite wide receiver so the world will once again speak the name ‘Bills’ like in the glory days." The Hall of Famer emphasized that Joe Brady, who took over offensive duties late last season, needs to focus on re-establishing balance between the run and pass game. Kelly believes the Bills must lean on their running backs more — not just to control time of possession, but to ease the burden on Allen in critical third-down situations. Overreliance on deep throws, he noted, makes the offense predictable and easier to defend for top-tier defenses. He also pointed to the lack of depth at wide receiver as a critical issue preventing Allen from reaching his MVP form of 2021. With Stefon Diggs gone and Khalil Shakir still developing, Buffalo lacks a true playmaker who can consistently create separation and stretch the field. Kelly’s message isn’t just a critique — it’s a heartfelt reminder from one Bills icon to another generation. Buffalo once thrived on discipline, balance, and brotherhood. And perhaps, as Kelly implied, the path back to greatness begins by rediscovering those very roots.
