Saints QB Spencer Rattler Speaks Out Amid Rumors of Being "Sidelined" by Kellen Moore
New Orleans, October 1, 2025
In recent days, the atmosphere surrounding the New Orleans Saints has grown tense as a wave of rumors surfaced suggesting that QB1 Spencer Rattler could soon lose his spot in the starting lineup. Following a disappointing start to the season, the media has begun speculating that the coaching staff and new head coach Kellen Moore might be considering a change at the quarterback position.
In response to this wave of speculation, Rattler has officially spoken out to reassure fans while reaffirming his determination to fight on. “I don’t pay too much attention to the rumors. I know my responsibilities in the Saints uniform, and the only thing I can do is focus entirely on improving myself,” Rattler shared after practice. “I’m working hard every day, and I’ll do everything to get the Saints back on track.”
Rattler’s playing style since entering the NFL has always sparked debate. He possesses a powerful throwing arm but sometimes struggles with handling pressure and maintaining consistency. Nevertheless, the young quarterback is highly regarded for his determination and ability to adapt quickly. For this reason, many teammates believe Rattler can soon overcome the current challenges.
During the interview, Rattler candidly acknowledged his shortcomings: “I’m not denying that I need to play better. I’m spending hours reviewing film, putting in extra practice outside of regular hours, and working closely with Kellen Moore to adjust the system. This is a journey, and I have no intention of giving up.”
The young QB’s resolute words have somewhat eased the concerns of the Who Dat Nation community. While pressure from the media persists, Rattler understands that the only way to silence the rumors is through a convincing performance on the field. With the determination he’s showing, Saints fans have every reason to hope that he will help the team turn things around in the remainder of the season.
