Travis Kelce’s Charity Donates $87,000 To Support People With Disabilities In Kansas City
Kansas City once again witnessed the generosity of star tight end Travis Kelce as his 87 & Running Foundation announced a donation of $87,000 to the Crafted and Uncorked event. The fundraiser supports people with disabilities in the Kansas City area, helping them gain access to better care and greater opportunities for inclusion.
Crafted and Uncorked is an annual event that gathers philanthropists, businesses, and local residents to raise money for Easterseals Midwest – an organization dedicated to serving individuals with disabilities. Kelce’s donation, tied symbolically to his iconic No. 87 jersey, carried added significance: a reminder that even the biggest stars remain grounded in their responsibility to the communities that support them.
Speaking on the contribution, Kelce expressed: “I want to spread the best possible things to the community, no matter how small. There are so many unfortunate lives out there that need help. I’m only doing what I should do. I hope that one day, while I’m still playing football, they can come see me on the field and not just through a screen.”
This is far from Kelce’s first act of giving. Through 87 & Running, he has long supported educational, athletic, and community initiatives across Kansas City, particularly focusing on children and those in vulnerable circumstances.
With this latest donation, Travis Kelce once again proves that his impact goes far beyond his highlight-reel catches – showing himself to be a leader both on the field and in the heart of his community.
