UPDATE TIME: Saints-Patriots Week 6 Game Rescheduled to Earlier Kickoff Time
New Orleans, September 30, 2025 – The National Football League (NFL) has announced an adjustment to the schedule for the Week 6 matchup between the New Orleans Saints and the New England Patriots. Instead of taking place at 3:25 p.m. CT as originally planned, the game will now be moved to a noon CT kickoff on Sunday, October 12, at the Caesars Superdome.
This change is part of the NFL’s flexible scheduling strategy, aimed at optimizing television viewership and ensuring the most engaging experience for fans. By shifting to an earlier time slot, the Saints–Patriots game will become one of the focal points of the noon slate, rather than competing for attention in the late-afternoon window.
This adjustment is particularly significant for Saints fans, as the team is navigating a challenging period under new head coach Kellen Moore. Playing earlier at the “holy ground” of the Superdome is expected to provide a notable advantage, with fans having more time to rally from the start of the day and create a vibrant atmosphere.
On the opposing side, the New England Patriots are also looking to rebuild their image after a less-than-stellar season. The matchup between the two teams, therefore, promises to be highly compelling, as both sides desperately need a win to gain momentum for the mid-season stretch.
Fans in New Orleans are encouraged to review their tickets and personal schedules to accommodate this change. The NFL emphasizes that all previously purchased tickets remain valid for the game, with only the kickoff time altered.
